Education at the Greek Community of Toronto

The Department of Education is the oldest and most significant department; its main objective being the teaching of the Greek language and the preservation of our national identity and cultural heritage.

The Department of Education is administered by the Education Council, which is responsible for the Education Policy of the Community, and through the Education Office oversees the implementation of the education policy and programs.

Ontario Universities Fair - Fall 2024

Ontario's universities are excited to host a collection of in-person and virtual events in the fall of 2024 where students can speak directly with university and student representatives. These events are free and anyone may attend. Please make a note of the following events and dates and consider posting them on your school website.

Ontario Universities Fair (OUF)

  • October 5-6, 2024, from 9:30 am to 5 pm, daily
  • Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building
  • Gathers Ontario's universities in 1 place
  • Once-a-year, free event where attendees can talk directly with university representatives
  • Note: There are no university presentations at OUF 2024. If students are looking for a similar experience, we encourage them to attend the virtual Information Sessions.

Ontario Universities' Regional Fairs

  • Fair-style events hosted across Ontario
  • Students can speak directly with Ontario University representatives and research their options
  • Events run from September 16 to October 18. A full schedule is available on the OUEvents website

Ontario Universities' Information Sessions

  • Virtual events on September 25 and November 21, from 5 to 7 pm (ET)
  • Great opportunity to get answers about programs, admission requirements, student life and much more
