Our Saturday comprehensive programs are incredibly popular with our families. At Panagia (West Toronto), St. Demetrios (Central), and Odysseas Elytis (Scarborough), we offer classes on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

These comprehensive programs are designed to rapidly advance our primary students' reading and oral skills, laying a strong foundation for higher grades. With 120 hours of instruction per year, our proven Greek literacy curriculum for students in grades JK/SK–8 follows an explicit, systematic approach that accelerates the growth of striving readers and nonreaders.

By integrating instruction across key literacy strands, including foundational skills, writing, vocabulary, fluency, grammar, comprehension, and spoken Greek, our engaging activities motivate all students to achieve a high level of Greek language proficiency and considerable success in the Ellinomatheia exams.

At Socrates Credit School, we understand the importance of flexibility in education.  Our students will receive 4 high school Modern Greek credits, recognized by the Ministry of Education and applicable towards graduation. Upon completion, all students will obtain the grade 12 course (LBDDU), a university preparation course that can be used as one of the top six high school courses for university and college applications.

Moreover, our credit school students have the power to shape their educational journey, as they are eligible for scholarships, a high level of
Ellinomatheia exams certifications, and many volunteer opportunities to help them meet their secondary school volunteer hour requirements.

This flexibility allows our students to balance their academic and personal commitments, empowering them to succeed.
