The Greek Community of Toronto is a communal institution established in 1909, incorporated in 1965, and is a registered, non-profit charitable organization.

The Greek Community of Toronto is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1909, representing over 150,000 Canadians of Greek origin in the Greater Toronto Area. The Greek Community and its members share a common desire to serve and promote the organization's goals; To foster and encourage cultural activities directly related to the advancement of the Greek language, the Greek Orthodox faith, and Greek history or any one of them in combination (Article B, GCT Constitution).

We are committed to providing an environment for Greek culture and heritage to flourish, thus enriching Canada's social and cultural fabric. Historically, the Greek Community of Toronto plays a vital role in socially, politically, and culturally supporting Greek immigrants of all generations. Having over 114 years of historical life with countless volunteers, members, and staff, we continue to promote Hellenism, Greek-language education, heritage, traditions, and democratic values. Our Greek language programs, cultural activities, social and religious services, and charity events actively support the Greek-Canadian Community and help build a strong and vibrant Canadian society.
