TUTORING PROGRAM


The GCT School of Higher Learning will build the skills, habits and attitudes that students need to succeed in their studies. Qualified, certified instructors will guide the students through their work while also providing direction,support and encouragement.

$150/10 weeks for Primary; $200/10 weeks for Jr. High and High School.

PRIMARY
Grades 1-3


Mathematics
Children will be exposed to math fundamentals through problems and exercises that they are exploring in their day school program. Focus on ensuring that students excel and fully understand the core expectations of Addition, Subtraction, Time and Money, with and introduction to multiplication for advanced learners.

Explore the fundamentals of both reading and writing, with an emphasis on spelling and grammar skills. Reading comprehension skills will be developed, necessary to understand, recall and share information about something he/she has read.

Students will work on the writing process with an emphasis on being able to edit his or her own work. Vocabulary will be expanded with reading.
