Traditional Dance Lessons
The immense and lasting contribution of the Cultural Affairs Department has been to anchor the performing arts in the lives of both young and old participants who, over the years, have reached the heights of excellence and have impressed and thrilled audiences nationally, continentally and internationally.
Through its cultural programs, the Greek Community offers a creative learning environment and promotes respect for our cultural heritage and traditions. Through dance, music, theatre, poetry and literature, participants gain a unique understanding and a profound appreciation of Hellenic cultural heritage and take pride in showcasing in an imaginative and impressive way. During the 2010 – 2011 academic year, the traditional Greek dance programs and the theatre arts programs will once again present a variety of programs which are aimed to enrich the lives of the participants.
